The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has joined forces to create an all-new television network to be known as ABAGALE – The ABA TV Network. “Having our own TV network has been a goal since the league was formed in 1999,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “And now, thanks to the remarkable technology created by Dimitry Kochman, “Strimm CEO and President and talented associates, that goal has been achieved. We believe this is the most important step forward for the ABA since its inception and are very excited.” ABAGALE will consist of over 100 individual linear TV channels for ABA teams that will be broadcast on websites, Facebook, on Roku as well as other platforms and will be available in a downloadable mobile app on IOS and Android devices. Programming will fuse music with sports and will contain ABA games, tryouts, clinics, coaches shows, player profiles as well as a wide variety of music videos featuring rap, hip hop, rock and other genre, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, year-round, The program content and team platforms are being organized and developed by Harold Whaley, ABA Director of Strategic Planning. “The ABA is already the largest league in the US and also the most diversified in ownership,” added Whaley. “Now, with ABAGALE – The ABA TV Network, we have taken a giant leap forward and upward – and hope to make ABAGALE the most fun and enjoyable sports/entertainment network available anywhere.” “We are very pleased to join forces with the ABA in this exciting venture; there’s never been anything like this before,” commented Kochman. “And already we’re working on additional ABAGALE channels to feature military sports, First Responder sports, Wheelchair sports and others. It is exciting working with the ABA, where innovation and creativity have no limits.”
